ABOUT ME

I'm Cristina, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. My work is rooted in somatic bodywork, taking into account the entire body and nervous system to foster true mind-body connection.

I offer a range of integrative modalities including deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, cupping, gua sha, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, Thai massage, and sports massage. I bring a trauma-informed approach to every session, holding sacred space for each person who comes to me seeking healing, relief or reconnection with themselves. I firmly believe that when we are in tune with and kind to our bodies, we will, in turn, radiate positivity and uplifting energy into the world around us.

Education

Denver Integrative Massage School (DIMS)

I trained at Denver Integrative Massage School, a Colorado-approved massage therapy school founded in 2010 by Hillary Hilliard. The 650-hour Certified Massage Therapist program included the best in Eastern and Western massage, preparing me to become a Certified Massage Therapist and pursue licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist in Colorado.

The curriculum blended two traditions:

Western modalities: therapeutic techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point, sports, and prenatal massage, along with postural assessment and body mechanics
Eastern modalities: Thai massage, acupressure, energy line work, assisted stretches, breathwork, and herbal medicine, traditions rooted in the founder's training in Thailand

DIMS is approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupational School Board, and the program builds in preparation for the MBLEx national licensing exam required for Colorado registration.

Fascia encases our entire body and holds onto many of our physical and emotional pains. I utilize intentional myofascial and trigger point therapy to target deeper problem areas to help you heal mind, body and soul.

DEEP TISSUE

I pride myself on offering deep tissue massage that strikes the perfect balance of relaxation and therapeutic bodywork, providing you with a calmer nervous system, less pain and better mobility to help ease your chronic pain.
